1. About these terms

Geo Quiz Lab offers free, browser-based geography games and related educational content. By accessing or playing on the website, you agree to use it in accordance with these terms and applicable laws. If you disagree, please stop using the site. Our Privacy Policy separately explains how website information and locally saved quiz progress are handled.

These terms apply to the games and informational pages published on Geo Quiz Lab. External websites linked as sources have their own rules.

2. What the games provide

You can play the main Geography Quiz, Flag Quiz, US States Map Quiz, and Guess the State by Shape without signing up or paying. Different games have different question sets, scoring rules, and ways of answering. We may adjust the selection of questions or clarify an answer as we review the educational content.

Some longer challenges save progress in the browser you use. Saved results are a convenience, not an account or permanent record. Progress may be lost when you clear site data, change devices, or use a browser that blocks local storage. We cannot guarantee recovery of a lost game.

3. Geography content is for learning

We work to make our quiz questions, explanations, flags, and maps accurate and useful. However, geographic sources can be updated, boundaries may be disputed, and simplified maps may omit islands or coastal details. For example, state outlines are resized to help recognition, not to compare real-world areas. Our maps should not be used for navigation, surveying, legal border determinations, or other decisions requiring authoritative geographic data.

Displaying a name, border, or region in a quiz does not mean Geo Quiz Lab is taking a position on sovereignty, a boundary dispute, or political recognition. When exactness matters, consult the original data provider or an appropriate official source.

4. Fair and responsible use

You may browse the educational pages and play the games for personal, classroom, or other lawful learning activities. Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, overwhelm it with automated requests, exploit security weaknesses, interfere with other visitors, or falsely represent the site as your own service.

If you want to reuse assets, source data, or substantial portions of the website, check the relevant licenses and permission requirements first. The presence of publicly viewable content does not automatically grant permission to republish every design, text, or illustration as your own.

5. Content and third-party licenses

The Geo Quiz Lab name, original quiz presentation, explanations, and site design are part of this website. Individual geographic datasets, flags, maps, and icons may come from third-party projects with their own licenses or attribution conditions.

We provide source and license links within the relevant games, including flag-icons, Natural Earth, and US Atlas. You may consult flag asset license details and US map license details. Those third-party license terms apply independently of these site terms.

If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, email us with the page URL, a description of the material, and enough information for us to review the concern.

6. Availability, changes, and errors

We may fix answers, revise game rules, add new challenges, or temporarily make parts of the site unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted access, that every browser feature will work in every environment, or that a particular quiz result will remain stored indefinitely.

If you encounter an incorrect answer, broken image, inaccessible control, or missing state or country, please send the page link and a short description to support@geoquizlab.com. We welcome corrections, but cannot guarantee an individual reply or a specific resolution date.

Some questions and learning notes link to government agencies, open-data projects, and other external sources. These links are offered to help you check facts or learn more. We do not operate or control those sites, and their content, availability, privacy practices, and terms may differ from ours.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not make warranties that every answer, image, or feature is complete, error-free, or continuously available. Use any information that requires official accuracy with appropriate independent verification.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Geo Quiz Lab is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from inability to access the website, inaccurate educational content, or loss of browser-saved game progress.
